Sammy B is the result of a 68 year-long quarterhorse breeding program in the Van Cleve family - he was bred, born and raised here under the Crazy Mountains. The family raises its own horses and runs a string of over 100 for the Lazy K Bar Ranch.
The Van Cleve's are recipients of the 50-Year Foundation Breeders Award from the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA).
Sam's bloodlines are double-bred Hancock - one of the quarterhorse foundation sires.

All our mares are pasture bred - just like the old days. The new babies shown here are his third crop to hit the ground.
The "Daly Place" under the Crazies is a wonderful place to start, don't you think? (This is where Sam was born, too.)
