The Crazy Mountain Irish Wolfhounds

Guinness & Beamish - about 2 years old

Carol and John have been proud owners of Irish Wolfhounds (or is it the other way around?) for over 30 years.  Cormac was our first, followed by Paddy, Connor, Guiness, and Beamish.  The great "Castle Dogs" of Ireland, these gentle giants are just loves, and also the biggest mooches you've ever met.   Paddy, in particular, was renown for his ability to sniff out any porch party on the ranch, no matter how remote.  (Could you put just a little more dip on that cracker, please???)  Guinness and Beamish - the stout brothers - are our current pair.   Guiness is the brains of the outfit, Beamish the muscle.  They are also indicative of the current breeding of IW's - Beamish is the true old woolfie - big, massive frame and a short, stiff coat.  Guinness, on the other hand, is slender, with a long, softer coat.  You'll meet them both when you get to the ranch!
